Communication in Localization

Watch Tabea De Wille explain the importance of mastering getting the right amount of communication in the a localization project.

Designing a solid communication process for localization and development teams involves a balance of who needs to know what information.

Much of the information communicated among development teams might be highly technical and not relevant to the localization team. The same is true for some information among the localization team that development teams don’t need to know.

The challenge is designing a process in which no one misses out on information they need, and the solution you design will depend on the specifics of your company or organization.

There may be some merit in automations when it comes to communication, so that key information, for instance, is not subject to handoff by one individual.
