Using the puzzle from the previous activity, share your new understanding of logic with a friend or family member by explaining how to model and solve the puzzle. Teaching someone else is a great way of consolidating your own understanding.

Teach

Ask a friend or family member to sit down with you while you explain the puzzle. You will need some paper and a pen.

Reflect

Having done so, reflect on the following questions:
  • Who did you explain it to?
  • How did you motivate (set out) the problem?
  • Could your friend or family member follow the puzzle with your help?
  • What did they struggle with?
  • How would you explain it differently next time?
