Reflect on your learning

Next week you will use the logical connectives that you have been introduced to to solve real world problems and some interesting puzzles.
In this activity, you have seen a range of logical connectives: disjunction, exclusive disjunction, negation and implication. You have learnt the symbols that represent each in a truth table. These connectives are the basic building blocks for everything that you will need to use propositional logic effectively.

Next week, we will look at how you can use the logical connectives that you have been introduced to to solve real world problems and some interesting puzzles.

Take a few minutes to reflect on what you have learnt this week.

Reflect

Choose one question to share your thoughts on with your fellow learners:
  • What have you learned this week?
  • What did you find interesting?
  • What did you find challenging?
Don’t forget to reply to your fellow learners’ comments by selecting ‘Reply’ on their posts. Can you see any similarities in your replies?

How is the course going?

Please answer a short mid-course evaluation survey to help you think about how your learning is progressing on this course. It includes some prompts to help your reflection and will help us improve and evidence the impact of the course.
Note: this optional survey does not affect your completion of the course. Further detail on how we (University of Leeds) use survey responses is included at the start of the survey and in this Privacy Notice
