Are you considering applying to study archaeology at university? We’d like to invite you to join one of the UK’s leading archaeology departments and embark on the BA Archaeology at the University of Reading.

This flexible undergraduate course enables you to tailor your degree to your interests and apply what you learn in the real world. Learn about topics directly from experts in their field, for example burial archaeology, material culture, bioarchaeology (including human remains), forensics, past environments (including geoarchaeology), museums and gender archaeology.

As part of a specialist Department, you will benefit from learning directly with world-leaders in their field, and even may have the chance to take up placement opportunities at their live excavation sites around the world. At the end of your first year, you will be able to attend the Archaeology Field School to put your skills into practice.
