End of Week 3 Summary
Congratulations on completing week 3 of the course! We hope you have enjoyed the week and have expanded your knowledge on microbiology.
This week, we have focused on antimicrobial resistance, the uses of antimicrobials and understanding the dangers of superbugs and co-resistance. We finished the week by looking into case studies that focused on superbugs.
Next week, we will look into the use of the laboratory in microbiology, testing for antimicrobial susceptibility and overall summarising antimicrobial stewardship.
