This short video describes the steps required for putting on and taking off and disposing of Personal Protective Equipment or PPE. This process is called donning and doffing. The PPE shown here is required for Aerosol Generating Procedures.

All dental procedures that use a high speed drill generate aerosols and so require the dental team to wear an FFP3 respirator mask. These masks are very close fitting and need to be specially fitted in a process called Face fit Testing
