HUMAYRA BINTE ANWAR: Hello, everyone. I’m Dr. Humayra Binte Anwar. I’m working as a research associate at the James P. Grant School of Public Health, BRAC University, Bangladesh. Let me welcome you to the module of health communication and behavior change, lecture 1. In this lecture, together we will be exploring the importance of health communication in behavior change interventions, key frameworks, and principle to guide the communication efforts, and some examples of successful and not-so-successful communication strategies from polio eradication campaigns of different countries of the world.
