This infographic was created by Clara Kightley and Sophie McDonnell, undergraduate students from the University of Reading’s Typography and Graphic Communication department.

Infographic on the wine industry stating the following: There are around 18,000 vineyards globally. These produce over 28 million hectolitres of wine a year. Most vineyards are found in the latitudes 30-50 degrees on both hemispheres. Global Warming may shift the geographical location of vineyards. It is estimated that global wine production for 2016 is 5% lower than that produced in 2015. Warmer climates result in a higher alcohol content of the wine. Climate & soil are the most important factors for growing grapes.
