We are your course instructors; Yamama Bdaiwi, Ammar Sabouni, Abdulkarim Ekzayez, Lujain Alchalabi, Safwan AlChalati, And Aula Abbara. We have extensive experience in conducting research in conflict settings, being Syrian healthcare professionals working in the intersections of academia, public health practice, and policy in conflict settings.
We developed this course to bring our experiences together to equip you with the knowledge and skills needed to conduct health research, audit, and quality improvement projects in conflict settings in an ethical, meaningful, and impactful manner that is able to initiate and drive positive and sustainable change in the very deprived environments of conflict.
You will learn how to navigate the unique challenges presented by conflict-affected environments, address ethical considerations, and maximize the impact of your research to inform policy and practice.
