This paper discusses the potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in addressing society’s challenges.
Despite valuable research, there is limited holistic knowledge at the intersection of AI, Information Systems (IS), and sustainability. We disclose how IS research uses AI for sustainable development, based on a corpus of 95 articles. This overview informs investments and identifies blind spots for future research.
