The Effect of Green Supply Chain Management Practices on the Sustainability Performance of Turkish Shipyards

What impacts will the practice of green supply chain management have on the coporate?
This study examines the impact of green supply chain management (GSCM) practices on sustainability performance in Turkish shipyards.

Six GSCM practices are analyzed, including green design, green purchasing, green production, green marketing, environmental management, and recycling. The results show that GSCM practices have a positive impact on economic and social sustainability performance, but not on environmental performance. Environmental uncertainty did not moderate the relationship between GSCM practices and sustainability performance. The study emphasizes the importance of GSCM practices for improving sustainability performance in shipyards. While the study is the first to examine this relationship in Turkish shipyards, it contributes to the understanding of GSCM practices and sustainability performance.
