Welcome to our third and final week of Engineering the Future.

Although this is the last week of the course, we’ll be asking you to get out your ‘crystal ball’ and gaze into the future.

Do you think robots will indeed take over the world?

We’ll be looking at recent innovations in robotic systems, and finding out how to control robots from a remote location (you might even get chance to try this out for yourself).

Do you think virtual reality is going to change the way we are entertained? We’ll learn how audio engineers are working to make VR sound realistic, so that you feel like you’re really there.

But first – What do you think healthcare will be like in the future?

Can we use virtual reality in medicine, and avoid having to go to the doctor? Let’s find out….
