Welcome to the second week in Data Science.

Last week, we looked at the sorts of skills a data scientist uses, considered the importance of asking questions in data science, learned some of the first steps in programming with Python, and saw how data is physically stored in a computer system.

This week

This week, we will explore:

  • How to load your data into Python
  • Using mathematics in Python
  • Building basic graphical plots in Python
  • Statistical thinking (including the idea of experimental design)
  • Issues of bias and ethics in data science
  • Data science in the real world

Your task

What are you most looking forward to exploring this week?
Feel free to share your thoughts with your fellow trainees in the comments area.
