Deep learning libraries

A discussion of the main deep learning libraries, in particular the one we will be using for the course, PyTorch.

The code we will use during this course is written using PyTorch, which will introduce in the following article.

Other packages and libraries mentioned in this video include:

• Keras
• Theano
• Jax
• Lightning

By all means have a quick look at the links above, but it’s not necessary to delve any further since everything we need for this course is available in PyTorch.

We just mention them here so you are aware that if someone is talking about using one or more of these packages, chances are they are talking about some sort of deep learning.

The broader concepts and techniques remain much the same, independent of platform.
