Week one introduction

Welcome to week one of the Decentralised Finance: Blockchain, Ethereum, and The Future of Banking course. This week we will focus on demystifying the world of DeFi. Upon completion of week one, you should better be able to:

• explain the role of smart contracts in DeFi
• differentiate DeFi from traditional, centralised finance (CeFi)
