Hello, my name is Majbritt Evald. I’m from University of South of Denmark. I’m a part of the CATCH program because I’m a main supervisor to one of the ESR students and one of the projects that these ESR students are going to look at is about commercializing the solutions that are being developed in CATCH.

So one of the problems that I would like to focus on here is actually the need for smaller and medium-sized enterprises to actually interact with multiple stakeholders in the healthcare center and the need for doing this is not just, you know, to understand the patient journey, the user situations that happens when you try to come up with cancer solutions but it’s really also about for the firm’s to become more assure of how to obtain commercial success and one of the really central elements in this is actually to find out what stakeholders you have to interact with to get the knowledge that is right for you to actually be able to implement and commercialize in the end.

So typically firms have a tendency to look at the direct public partner like doctors and nurses or other professionals in the healthcare center but it’s really also evident for firms to care about management for instance or care about IT supporters or other stakeholders at healthcare organization to in the end, come up with a solution that actually take care of the needs that all these multiple stakeholders have and to come up with commercial successful solutions in the end.

so I guess the key learning point here is really for small and medium-sized enterprises to fully understand the patient journey, not only to focus on the patient needs and their perspectives but also think about who in the surroundings will be the ones who should secure that patient journey will be a better experience so you know take a look at multiple stakeholders that the healthcare center actually have.
