This week, we will learn ‘The Royal Court Music-The Voice of the Royals’

Music was an indispensable element in the Korean court. The music accompanying court ceremonies and banquets represented the ruling philosophy of the state and played a role in supporting the authority of state power. In the ceremony of offering wine to the king, in the dance to pray for the longevity of the king, the music played with a variety of instruments was solemn and splendid, expressing the king’s authority and dignity.
