This week, we will learn ‘Poetry and Music(Sijo-The Voice of Poetry’

From the Shilla Dynasty until today, Koreans have created and sang various styles of poetry unique to Koreans.

Hyangga of the Silla Dynasty, songs of the Goryeo Dynasty, and Sijo of the Joseon Dynasty were popular Korean poems at the time.

Among them, the sijo of the Joseon Dynasty is a unique formal poem that expresses the emotions of the writers at the time, and a melody suitable for it has developed and become a musical genre.
