In this section, you are encouraged to share your ideas about being a successful student with your fellow learners and to practise using the new vocabulary and language features you have learned.
Your task
Your friend is thinking about moving to the UK to study at a university. Write a short email to your friend explaining what studying in the UK will be like compared to studying in your home country and what they will need to do to be a successful student. You should include:
- at least one feature of studying at a UK university that is different from studying in your home country
- a definition of one of the new words you added to your vocabulary log this week
- at least one collocate.
