Kia ora! And welcome to lesson two. In this lesson, you will be introduced to the United Nations 17 Sustainability Development goals. You’re going to match the pictures to the goals. You will also study some key vocabulary and phrases, as well as think about a discussion question. Ka kite! See you later.

In the last step, we finished by saying that the United Nations developed 17 Sustainability Development Goals (SDGs), which are to be completed by 2030. The University of Otago was the first New Zealand university to sign this commitment to complete the sustainable goals in 2018.
