Evaluation workbook – Evaluation strengths and weaknesses

Throughout this course you will be developing an evaluation plan. complete a template, and may adapt this as you progress through the course.

In this step, you will have the opportunity to reflect on the strengths of your current evaluation practice as well as identify those areas you deem a priority for future development and learning. 

This will in turn help to underpin and inform the evaluation frameworks and plans you will be developing later on in the course, which will enable you to further explore how you are going to make the changes you identify as important in this step.

Workbook: Principles of evaluation

Based on the self-audit exercise you have completed on how your current and previous evaluation practice aligns with the 12 Principles, take some time to reflect on your strengths and weaknesses that you have identified.
Navigate to Activity 2: Principles of evaluation in your Evaluation Workbook, and complete the activity by following the prompts provided. 
You should have already made a copy of the Evaluation Workbook, and have it saved on your device. If you haven’t saved a copy of the master document, please refer to Step 1.6 and follow the instructions provided.
Once you have completed this activity, return to this page to reflect on the activity, and share some of your thoughts and findings with your peers.
