Live question and answer session

A live question and answer session where you can ask questions about countries, learners and types of teaching.

On Wednesday 30th November at 3.30pm (UK time) we held our second live Q&A session, about grammar. You can watch the video of the session above, or you can find it on YouTube here.

You can find a PDF of useful links below in the ‘Downloads’ section. Please leave your comments below.

In the Q&A session Monica and Marie Therese invited all of you to share your ideas of resources and activities for helping learners improve their grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation. Here are three Padlets for you to add your suggestions, one for grammar, one for vocabulary and one for pronunciation.

Add your ideas to these Padlets.

  • Grammar Padlet
  • Vocabulary Padlet
  • Pronunciation Padlet
  • Instructions for using Padlet

Here are some sample questions from the session:

  • Where can I learn more about the grammar terms you’ve been using?
  • Is it necessary to use terminology (i.e. passive, countable noun etc) when teaching learners?
  • What activities can I use to teach grammar?
  • What approaches do you recommend for teaching vocabulary?
