Learning Objectives

This first week provides an in-depth explanation of Electric Buses (E-Buses) and their social and environmental benefits. It also discusses the barriers to implement E-Buses and provides examples of successful electrified bus fleets today.

For the first week of the course, the Learning Objectives are:

• develop a comprehensive understanding of the concept of e-buses, including their technology, functionality, and purpose
• gain knowledge about the various types and structures of e-buses available in the market, including differences in design, power sources, and operational features
• explore and evaluate the social and environmental benefits associated with the implementation of e-buses, such as reduced emissions, improved air quality, and enhanced public health.
