The welcome is given by Patrizia Polverino de Laureto, one of the educators of the course. Prof. Polverino de Laureto is teaching, Proteomics and Structural Biochemistry at University of Padova. Her research has primarily focused on the pharmaceutical sciences, understanding the role of alpha-synuclein amyloid aggregation in Parkinson’s disease .
