How to meet Governance Standard 1

This video explains how charities can demonstrate that they meet Governance Standard 1.

Governance Standard 1 requires a charity to demonstrate that it:

  • was set up as a not-for-profit (NFP) with a charitable purpose
  • runs as a not-for-profit, and
  • is working towards its charitable purpose/s.

It also requires charities to demonstrate that they can provide information to the public about their charitable purpose.
