Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a fast growing area, but did you know that computer scientists have been working on AI since the 1940s? In this activity, you’ll start by finding out some of the amazing history of AI from its early beginnings at the dawn of digital computing, to the modern AI tools which you probably use every day without realising it!
You will have the chance to look at the large language model (LLM) tools such as ChatGPT which are causing a huge stir in workplaces around the world. You’ll find out how to use these tools, and how you can write better prompts to use these tools more effectively.
