Last week, we helped you identify your skills and perhaps some gaps you could work on. This week, we’re going to move onto the application process. We’ll look at:

  • What employers expect from candidates’ applications – is there such a thing as a perfect candidate?
  • What stages you could go through before interview
  • How to interpret games job adverts and discover what recruitment managers expect from a range of jobs
  • How to apply strategies to provide evidence in your CV that you can do the job

As before, you’ll hear from a range of employers and people that have hired a lot of games developers, but most importantly you’ll hear from our developers about how they approached the application process. How did they feel putting themselves forward?

By understanding the process and hearing how studios and developers handle applications, you will get closer to being ready to apply when a good role is advertised.
