Speaking Practice

Listen and respond to each question.

Let’s practice talking about food using the audio file and the additional list of vocabulary. Record yourself after practicing thoroughly, and share the file with other learners.

Listen to the following questions and answer them using “N/Adj/Verb-인데/(으)ㄴ데/는데’.

After doing some practice, try recording yourself and then share it with everyone else.

I will recommend an online recording service called Vocaroo. It allows you to record your voice and gives you a URL. You can upload the audio file, and you can also download the audio recording and share it in other ways. Here is how you can get to the website ‘Vocaroo’. It’s fairly easy to use.

This is how to use ‘Vocaroo.’

  1. Click on the red record button. You’ll get a pop-up message asking you to review flash settings and allow access to the microphone.
  2. The recording will start immediately. Press stop recording when you’re done.
  3. If you want to keep the recording, click ‘Save and Share’ to generate a URL or download the file to share it with others. (If you want to keep the file for yourself, you’ll need to make sure that you download it.)
  4. There are several options as to how you can share the recording with other people (get the links, embed it to another site, send an email, share it on social media, etc.)

! Notice: you’ll need a microphone or a headset with a mic.
