Talk about Culture : Fashion Trends
Every country has a fashion capital, and in Korea, Seoul and Busan are known as fashion capitals.
More specifically in Seoul, Myeong-dong, Gangnam, areas near HongIk-university are popular spots for fashion and shopping.
In those places, you are able to observe the latest fashion trends on clothes, hairstyle, bags, shoes, and accessories and also feel the vibrant atmosphere. People are becoming more interested in following fashion trends, and we refer to people as “fashionista” if they dress well and have a good sense of style.
However, some express concerns about following fashion trends as sometimes the trend is not suitable for everyone or it makes the people loose individuality.
