The second expression we are going to learn is “세종대왕이 한글을 만든 것을 기념하는 날이에요.(It’s a national holiday to commemorate the invention and proclamation of Hangul by King Sejong.)”

Is there a day that you want to remember because it’s so special? When people throw parties every year to remember special occasions such as birthdays or wedding anniversaries, we refer to that as “celebrating” the day.
