So here AI is being used. So AI collect the reviews by other users and do the collaborative filtering and then come up with the suggestions. So this huge amount of reviews help the AI to give the better suggestions to the user. And then if the user satisfied with the suggestions, you may get the user again.
Next is face recognition, suppose at the airp we see the huge lines and waiting for it to be authenticated to pass the next pass on to the next step. So here we can use face recognition system, which collects your current face and it matches with the face in the document, for example, passport, so it can save the time of the customer as well as the authorities. So now we have the chat boards and online customer services. Suppose you want to ask some customer services something, but during the peak hours they are not available. So for that, we have chatbots as a solution so you can install chatbots on your mobile and then you can text there. So what chatbots do?
They collect your query, they possess it with AI and try to understand it, and then they give you the feedback. And one example is meet Sam, which is a good chatbot for you, whenever you plan your trip. It takes care of many things. For example, booking a taxi, for example, your deboarding, th and many things. So it also suggests you the weather condition before you travel. So such chatbots are helping in the tourism industry. So next, now we would take it to the further level. At the help desk, we see the help-desk services, but sometimes they are available. So the IBM Watson with Hilton, they have developed a robotic system called Cony, so you can talk to that robot directly.
It collects your speech and then it processes it with the AI and then it gives you the feedback. So this is the time of both as a customer and as a service provider. The next is language translation. Suppose you belong to Asia and you want to go to Europe for a trip. It is possible that they may not be knowing your language, suppose in Asia you may be speaking Hindi, Urdu and in Europe, you suppose you are visiting Sweden, so there is Svenska. So now they want to understand you. So here. A.I. is being used in language translation. So what it does, it takes the the text in the language and then it converts into another language.
So this is how you can connect more with the customers. And thi language translation is really doing well at the current moment. We have so many deep learning based architectures which are doing very well in language translation. So this is how tourism industry is being helped with AI thank you.
