Shape-based models in video object tracking. Presented by Professor Andy French

How shape-based models are used in video or time sequence image data to track objects.

We show how active contour models can be used not only to track objects, but also to predict the future position of objects in the frame. This technique is particularly useful when tracking multiple objects with similar appearances, e.g. fluorescent nuclei.
