Grammar 1 (-을 수 있다/ -ㄹ 수 있다)
Let´s study more in detail about the expressions we just learned.

The form of a sentence in Korean may change based on the presence or absence of the ‘받침(a consonant at the end of a syllabic group)’. Let´s take a look at the following examples.

-을 수 있다/ -ㄹ 수 있다

(Attached to a verb) this is used to express one´s ability or capability.

1. With 받침 + -을 수 있다

Verb Example
읽다 읽을 수 있다
찍다 찍을 수 있다

2. Without 받침 + -ㄹ 수 있다

Verb Example
하다 할 수 있다
추다 출 수 있다
그리다 그릴 수 있다
