Joel: Yes, I like books. Prof.
Ahn: Shall we read together in the library?
Joel: Okay, let’s read together. When should we meet? Prof.
Ahn: Let’s meet on Saturday. ‘Eonje mannal kkayo’ is the question used when asking the day of an appointment.
After hearing this question you’ll have to answer: “___e mannayo”, saying the day you would like to meet before the verb.
If you want to meet on a Saturday, you’ll have to say: “ T’oyoil-e mannayo”. Well then, should we practice some more? Prof.
Ahn: Anna, shall we go look at paintings in the museum together?
Anna: Okay, let’s go together. When should we meet? Prof.
Ahn: Let’s meet on Sunday. Well done. Now then, Anna and Joel, try to do it on your own.
Joel: Anna, do you like football?
Anna: Yes, I like football.
Joel: Then shall we play football together on the playground?
Anna: Okay, let’s play together. When should we meet?
Joel: Let’s meet on Friday. Prof.
Ahn: Very well. Now everybody, let’s practice, together one more time. ‘Woori eonje mannalkkayo?’
“언제 만날까요?’” is the question used when asking the day of an appointment.
After hearing this question you’ll have to answer: “~에 만나요.”, saying the day you would like to meet before the verb. If you want to meet on a Saturday, you’ll have to say: “토요일에 만나요.”.
