Azure Command-Line Interface

In addition to the graphical tools explored in the previous steps, you can work with Azure Storage and Azure Data Lake Store using the Azure Command-Line Interface (CLI), a cross-platform console interface for working with Azure resources.

You can find out more about the Azure CLI and download it for your Windows, Linux, or Mac OS X computer at Get started with Azure CLI.

The Azure CLI documentation for working with Azure Storage is at Manage Azure Cloud Storage resources.

The Azure CLI documentation for working with Azure Data Lake Store can be found at Manage Data Lake Store accounts and filesystems.

In the next activity, you’ll put some of the concepts we’ve discussed into practice in the Working with Azure Storage & Azure Data Lake Store CloudSwyft Hands-On Learning Lab. Once you’ve completed the lab, gauge your understanding of the content in the Knowledge Check that follows.
