ADAM AMOS: We can all agree that advancements in technology have positively effected the growth of data science. However, this growth has also brought a set of challenges. I believe that predicting advances in technology and acting fast is the only way to stay ahead of the competition. With an extensive background in software and electrical engineering and robotics, I know firsthand how important it is to understand the effects of data science on organizations. I’m Adam Amos, and I’m the founder of robotic systems, an engineering consultancy that develops commercial tests and analysis solutions for companies nationwide. In the last decade, there’s been an exponential growth in data science.
Organizations have invested resources, uplift their data analytics teams, which in turn have created requirements for the right skillset. Today, I’m gonna share with you my best practices for managing the challenges of using data to support decision making. With the combined evolution of skills, tools, and the right mindset, you can help organizations successfully transverse that data science journey.
