Steve Sharma – Senior Cyber Security Architect, Digital Frontier Partners

Steve is an accomplished and driven Cyber Security professional with over 20 years’ experience in IT, 17 of these years specifically in the field of Information Security.

Steve is one of a selected few to have worked at all 4 of Australia’s major banking institutions in a cybersecurity capacity.

Over the course of Steve’s career he has specialized in Security Management, Architecture, Consulting, Operations, Outsourcing, Assurance and Governance – having a unique ability to think pragmatically and apply these skills within an ACS – ISM (Information Security Manual) ISO 27001 ISMS Management/VPDSF/TOGAF/SABSA frameworks. He has worked previous with Department of Education Vic, CenITex, LXRA, VicRoads, Department of Main Roads and Transports QLD, NSW Health, WA Police, Department of Premier and Cabinets.

Steve has previously worked with large enterprise customers in Australia, United States, Malaysia, Singapore and Bangkok, designing, developing and implementing a wide range of Cybersecurity technologies. Primarily in Identity and Access Management platform & Services, Threat and Vulnerability Management, Cloud & Data Security, Security Operations Centre management technologies and encryption technologies and security testing (Ethical and Penetration Testing).

He is a keen cricketer and spent last year exploring Sri Lanka and playing for Williamstown Cricket club.
