Week 2 learnings

Summary of the week’s learnings and detailed presentation of next weeks
We hope you have enjoyed this second week with us!

Together we have explored LEGO Braille Bricks and discovered everything about the toolkit, pedagogical concept and website! It is much more than a box full of bricks: it’s a whole new pedagogical concept to teach braille through play, in a fun and inclusive way!

We completed the following outcomes:

  • Discover LEGO Braille Bricks toolkit and pedagogical concept

  • Understand the core components of lessons designed for learning through play

  • Review the six main activity categories

  • Gain knowledge of how the LEGO Braille Bricks concept can meet students’ tactile learning needs

Over the next three weeks, we will dive into playful activities, watch children engage and learn how to explore and facilitate pre-braille learning.

Next week, you will save turtles and transform caterpillars into butterflies… Ready to play?
