Ready to play "6-Car Parking Lot"?
Drawing of the activity: 2 dice and base plate with car-parking lot made of bricks

Let’s look at an activity where frames are needed, in the category “Constellation”.

You perform multiple steps to relate and rank numbers one through six. Park the right car in the right spot.

You need to prepare 1 base plate, all bricks and two dice. Place bricks on the base plate to create a six-car parking lot (two columns of three spaces, like a braille cell).

Let’s play!

Players take turns:

  1. Roll one die and read it. This number equals the number of passengers/studs to ride in your car.

  2. Find your car with the right number of passengers.

  3. Roll the other die and read it. This number equals the parking space number.

  4. Park your car in the corresponding space.

  5. Game ends when the entire parking lot is full.

Are all the cars parked? Please share your comments below!
