Well done and next steps

What can you expect from next week?

Now Dave, you began this week by telling us about your experiment in building a pond in your garden. How did that go? Well, contrary to expectations from my family and friends, and considering I am really no good at DIY, it was quite a success. I got some goldfish, put in some reeds, and wow. It was so good. We were soon visited by the local wildlife. This summer, we had dragonflies, and we were pleasantly surprised to see a family of newts had moved in. I have now created an ecosystem in my back garden. Excellent. So you proved your family wrong. Well, you know, we’ve been talking about communication and information sharing.

All the different agencies need to co-exist in a common environment where they communicate and share information. So here’s a thought for you to ponder. What is the ecosystem you live in within the business of safeguarding?

What sort of environment do you create with other stakeholders when it comes to communicating and sharing confidential information? See you next week. Do you have any ducks in your pond, Dave?

In this week’s summing up Dave and Marino explain how different healthcare agencies need to exist in a common environment of trust in order to communicate and share confidential information effectively. But first there’s an update on Dave’s pond, naturally.

Something to consider…
