Why should you get involved in your department and how?

In this video, Nick outlines the benefits of getting involved within your department.

In the video, Nick talked about the range of opportunities available at university, both inside and outside the classroom.

But beyond just getting involved, ‘finding your people’ can help you settle into higher education – and we touched upon this in Week 1. Over to you

Tell us about a time when you joined a group – whether this was an interest group outside of education/work or perhaps, if you are already at university, you joined a society. We want to hear all about your experiences of meeting other people who share similar interests.
