ASSEFA SEME DERESSE: Hello, everyone. My name is Assefa Seme Deresse. I’m an associate professor of Public Health and Reproductive Health at the School of Public Health at Addis Ababa University. Welcome to the module on Human Resource for Health. In this lecture, we’ll introduce to you what the Human Resource for Health is and who the health workers are. We’ll also be looking at the importance of human resources for health, challenges they face, and the strategies used to maximize their performance.
