OLUWASEUN AKINYEMI: Hello, everyone. Welcome to the module on planning and management. My name is Oluwaseun Akinyemi. I am a faculty member at the Department of Health Policy and Management at the College of Medicine, University of Ibadan, Nigeria. In this module, we will explore the best practices in micro planning and how the community may be engaged in the process. We will also examine the challenges of reaching a special population, using polio programming as a foundation. Finally, we will explore how politics may influence public health programming and delivery.
