The positive impacts of social media – Ethan Kross

University of Michigan Professor Ethan Kross describes some of the positive impacts of social media, including enhanced support networking.

Returning to a premise introduced very early in the Teach-Out, much of the discourse around social media focuses on the negative – but this isn’t the whole story.

In this video, Ethan highlights the positivity that social media can yield: in particular, enhanced support networking with others. He speaks to how social media can be helpful or harmful, but it depends on how we use and engage with these platforms.
