Overview

Practical Machine Learning for AI is a short course designed to give an introduction to the concept of Machine Learning. Here’s what the course will cover:

Week 1: Introduction to Machine Learning

• Introduction to machine learning
• Machine learning pipelines

Week 2: Approaches and Platforms

• Machine learning approaches
• Ethics and Bias
• Machine learning platforms

By the end of this course, you should be able to:

• Demonstrate an understanding of machine learning
• Identify applications of machine learning in real life
• Recognise the machine learning pipeline and its individual steps
• Distinguish between different types of machine learning and
• Set up Google Colab to run machine learning experiments.

Learning schedule

We only expect the course to take 2 weeks to complete. That said, everyone’s different, and you may find yourself working at a different pace. That is fine – one of the benefits of online learning is that you can work at a pace that suits you.

The content for all courses in this course has been carefully designed, reviewed, and curated by subject matter experts in the field of machine learning to ensure that you gain the most relevant skills.
