Last week, we looked at adapting child protection strategies in COVID-19 with the focus on group activities for children’s well-being, family strengthening interventions and community level child protection. We also explored considerations around working across sectors and with national actors to support child protection outcomes during the pandemic. This week, we continue our journey on adapting child protection strategies during the COVID-19 with a focus on case management, safe identification and referral, alternative care and children in detention.

This week, we continue our learning journey on adapting child protection strategies during COVID-19 with a focus on case management, alternative care and children in detention. Towards the end of the week, we will start to consider the challenges that members of the social services workforce may experience as well actions that can be taken to ensure the safety and well-being of those working to support and protect children during COVID-19.
