Week 2 wrap up

In this video Sarah does a quick wrap up of Week 2 and gives a preview of what is coming in Week 3.
LECTURER: Hi everyone. So here we are at the end of week two. Again, it’s been great to see so many of you posting your thoughts and sharing your insights in the comment section. Looking back at the week, we covered specific skills for speaking, including speaking naturally and fluently, and using correct pronunciation, stress and intonation. We hope after completing the practice exercises, especially for repeat sentence and reading aloud, you’re feeling more prepared to tackle the speaking item types in the test. Much of week two focused on identifying the key writing skills assessed in the test, including getting your grammar and vocabulary right, organizing sentences and paragraphs and writing an essay and a summary.
The practice tasks were designed to give you an opportunity to apply these skills to the task types you will encounter in the test. We trust that we’ve helped you to identify and practice the key skills required to be successful in the speaking and writing sections of the PTE test. Please join us next week as we move on to reading and listening. We look forward to your company in week three.
