Applying Safety by Design

The eSafety Commissioner’s in-depth research and consultation (2018) established the foundations of Safety by Design. This includes the following key Safety by Design resources and activities that together make up the Safety by Design initiative:
Week 2 of this course will examine the three overarching Safety by Design principles.
In Week 3 we’ll look at how the interactive industry assessment tools can be used to improve a technology company’s approach to designing and developing online products and services with user safety and rights as a core part of the products/services.
In Week 4 you will learn about the holistic approach to Safety by Design which extends to its global context and applicability to other stakeholders in the digital ecosystem, such as those who invest in online product/services.
