The initial questions in the assessment tool ask about the company (size and sector) and the online service, product or platform.

The initial questions are focused on the different features, tools and processes which are included in or relevant to the service, product or platform offering.

Getting started with the assessment tool

To get started using the tool, eSafety recommends the following:

Time icon Time: Each module of the assessment tool takes 45-90 minutes to complete. Participants do not have to complete all modules at once, but it is recommended that they allocate dedicated time to complete the modules, free from distractions.
Information icon Information: Participants should make sure they have easy access to all the information needed to accurately complete the assessment.
People icon People: Participants may need the knowledge of other individuals – such as the company’s trust and safety lead or risk management lead – to respond to all questions in the modules.
Continuous Improvement Mindset icon A continuous improvement mindset: Integrated throughout the tool are resources that can be used as learning aids and sources of advice and inspiration.
