Now that we know more about the Safety by Design assessment tools, it’s time to take the tools for a test drive.

You may be a member of an organisation you wish to perform the assessment for. If so, use that organisation to perform the assessment in the following step. If you do not have an organisation in mind, use the following case study, featuring a fictional software company called Tyne Trends Technology, to perform the Safety by Design assessment.

To learn more about Tyne Trends Technology, download the case study PDF below. You will want to keep it handy as you are performing the assessment.

Note: This is a fictional case study that forms part of the Safety by Design course created by RMIT Centre for Cyber Security Research and Innovation and the Australian eSafety Commissioner. It is only to be used for the purpose of assisting the learner to complete the Safety by Design industry assessment tool exercise that forms part of the course.
